Miles

906 miles. 13 and a half hours. Sitting on a light grey leather seat in our blue Acura. I long to read French forever in Quebec and I wish it never ended at Ontario. Ontario lasted for what seemed like years. Highway 401 was beyond boring. Reading signs saying not to speed or get demerited points and the English and French signs dwindled to few and far between. Toronto rolled around with just a small sight of the skyline. Traffic hit. 10 mph for 15 minutes. 2.5 miles only in those 15 minutes. Flat land only around here. No homes, business, even gas stations. Few billboard here and there. Depressed I was left seeing that we'd only made it to exit 475. 475 km to the border. Excruciating. Still I sat, reading Daniel's Story for class tomorrow. "Bridge to U.S.A." finally. Under, "50 km." How depressing. Detroit rolls around and Michigan. Ahh, Michigan. Fat yet skinny. It looks so short East-West but it isn't. It's enormous. 2.5 hours across Michigan plus...

Photograph Post

Image
For this post, I will share 2-5 photographs of things that show who I am. That's right, it can be 2, 3, 4, or even 5. Probably going to be 2 but you never know. This is the Colorado flag and if you've been following this blog or just not been living under a rock, you'd know that it's my favorite state. I hate summer and Colorado has the slogan, "Never summer." I like that because cold is good and warm is bad. I ski in Colorado and it's by far the best and most challenging skiing in the country. The high elevation always feels great and the weather is always perfect. 20-30s and sunny if you don't include the combined 40 days during which accumulation counts reach 400-plus inches of snow each year. June 2022, I'm moving out here. It's the best, no doubt. (insert image of my Gold iPhone 6s) My email didn't work when I sent the picture to myself and copy and paste didn't either. Ha Ha Funny. You probably know what it looks like anyw...

Soundtrack of My Life

Coming up are 5 songs that represent me in various different ways such as birth, milestones, personality, loss, dreams, or opinions on various subjects. Links to each song will be placed below the titles. - Not Afraid by Eminem https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5-yKhDd64s This song represents me because it shows how Eminem bounced back from a series of significant scrutiny due to various false accusations for some acts against the law. He became depressed from this and he went into hiding for a period of time. Once he was ready to come back, he wrote this song and released his first album in two years with this song as the lead single. In November 2017, I went through a six week period during which I was depressed because I believed that nobody liked me and thought I was a bad person. I thought I did something to someone for them to hate me. These are common feeling to what Eminem had when he released this song but one difference, he was accused, I wasn't. I, in a way, accused m...

Creative Writing Blog

She took a deep breath and said to her boss, a very greedy and frugal man, "My pay is insufficient and I'd like you to accept this letter of resignation." The boss was hyperventilating extravagantly. She braced herself for yet another temper tantrum out of the bossman, the very last. "He always saves the best for last," she thought. In this case, the worst is last. As expected it came, worse than ever before. He cursed and threatened in ways where repeating is impossible due to the level of profanity chosen by this absolutely horrible man to be uttered. The boss wouldn't calm down and she attempted to calm him down. More and more time went on, he pounded on the crummy government-issue desk and there were now multiple dents visible. He pounded and screamed so hard that the German-made Pilkington window, advertised as safety glass, shattered into 19 million pieces. The entire room was looking at him now and the CEO upstairs heard thumping from below. He shows ...

Breckenridge 2018

The new year came and went and 2.30pm finally rolls around and I get in the car bound for Colorado. 1075 miles, 16 hours, 4 states. Fast forward to 2.00am after the time zone change so 3.00am in this case my dad gets tired and stops to sleep. It's -11 outside and he turns off the car. Do you expect me to sleep when it's maybe 10 degrees in my car? Really? So my jacket is on and I try to sleep but I'm beyond uncomfortable and then my dad turns on the car and the heater and I'm burning. No luck for me and I don't want to wake up my dad by taking the jacket off so I don't sleep at all. I was trying to text people on Snapchat to no avail as it was 3-4-5am in Chicago. I decided to be the weirdest person in the world and attempt to gain the #1 overall world ranking in the game of guessing airport codes also to no avail (I'm still #2). I got bored and began staring at my surroundings: a Sinclair gas station, a TravelCenter of America sign reading gas prices and ...

Christmas List

So, Christmas is in 15 days from the time I wrote this post and obviously I want things, many things because I'm a greedy boy, just kidding, I'm not. I just want things. I've got a long list so obviously I'm not putting all 19 things on here. I'll put more like 7-10 of them if that's all good. I'll try to keep my explanations entertaining as I tend to drag my writing on and on as I'm doing now. Shutting up. 1. Air Jordan XXXII Bred These are the highest quality of basketball shoes this year and the whopping $185 price tag shows it. The core of the shoe is made of carbon fibre and the shoe is made out of Nike's Flyknit material. This shoe has the perfect amount of traction and it's very comfortable and easy to play in. I use two pairs of shoes for basketball at school, one for practice and one for games. These will be for games obviously and that's why I need the highest quality of shoes. I recommend getting a half size higher as these shoe...
